Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Welcome to BUCK. These Terms are the agreement between you and BUCK ("we," "us") for use of the BUCK app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What BUCK is

BUCK is a free app that gives you a personal money coach you can talk to by voice or text. BUCK provides financial education and coaching only. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and we are not a registered investment adviser. See our Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use BUCK.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. The information you give BUCK about your money is self-reported by you; BUCK relies on it as provided.

4. BUCK is free

  • BUCK is free to use. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and nothing to buy — in the

app or on the web. We do not collect payment card details.

  • To keep the coach responsive for everyone, generous daily fair-use limits apply to

conversations and voice minutes. They reset every day, and ordinary use does not reach them.

  • If we ever introduce a paid option, we will say so clearly before it affects you, and using

BUCK will never start a charge you did not agree to.

5. Ending your use

  • You can stop using BUCK at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by

emailing support@buck.app (see the Privacy Policy).

  • We may suspend or end access for the misuse described below.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no illegal activity, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse- engineer it, no reselling access, and no using BUCK to harm others. We may suspend or end access for violations.

7. BUCK's responses

BUCK is powered by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Treat its responses as educational input, not as instructions. You are responsible for your own decisions. Do not rely on BUCK for advice specific to your situation — consult a licensed professional.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content and software, belongs to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use BUCK while your account is open. Conversation content you create is yours; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service (see the Privacy Policy).

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for financial losses resulting from decisions you make.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
